OnePlus after a successful phone like OnePlus 5 is now all set to launch the OnePlus 5T continuing the tradition from last year’s OnePlus 3T. Though there were reports earlier that said OnePlus might not bring the OnePlus 5T, the company seem to have changed their mind as the device has leaked time and time from the past few weeks. If everything that we have heard the past 2-3 weeks is to be believed, the OnePlus 5T is said to go official on November 16th and is said to be exclusively available on Amazon. In today’s post let’s see what we know about the device, the price of OnePlus 5T and launch date.
Thanks to @evleaks aka Evan Blass we got to see the partial design of the OnePlus 5T which now comes with 18:9 bezel-less design that most brands are slowly incorporating on their smartphones. The front panel now looks slim and is where you find the front camera, 2.5D curved glass and power button present on the right side. Going by the rendered image, it is very likely that OnePlus might adopt the Oppo R11s design that is going to be launched in China on November 2nd. The rendered image leaked last week shows the device in its full form, the Fingerprint sensor is moved to the rear and the alert slider is present on the left along with the volume rockers.
It packs the Dual rear camera similar to the OnePlus 5. Coming to the Specs of OnePlus 5T, it is expected to sport a 6-inches Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 resolution) display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6GB of RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB of RAM with 128GB ROM much like the OnePlus 5. It will run on Android 8.0 Oreo if not Android 7.1.1 nougat with Oxygen OS on top. In the camera department, there is an improvement, it packs a 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear cameras and a bigger battery unit.
Though most of the specifications and rumours are based on speculations, we need to wait for some more time to know them for sure. The OnePlus 5T price is expected to be around $599 and the OnePlus 5T launch date is November 16th, while the Indian launch might be on the same day, the availability is unknown at the moment.
