The Nokia 6.1 Plus was recently launch in China as the Nokia X6. Now, reports indicate that the handset is also expected to arrive in India sometime during the month of September.

According to NokiaPowerUser, the smartphone is set to arrive in India but the exact date still remains unknown. The handset is expected to launch in the Malaysian market sometime in August. Hence, it’s speculated that the device will hit Indian shores sometime in September, only after its official launch in Malaysia.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus has received a healthy response from the Chinese market and the company now plans to launch the device in other global markets as well. The device, however, is being launched in phases. After China, the device is planned for a launch in Taiwan on July 19. The next market planned to get the smartphone after Taiwan is Russia, as the device just cleared certification in the country.

The highlight of the Nokia 6.1 Plus is its notched display and almost bezel-free design. Key specifications of the device inlcude a 5.8-inch Full HD display having an aspect ratio of 19:9 with ultra thin bezels on the sides. Under the hood, it gets powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor.

In terms of optics, the Nokia X6 gets a 16MP+5MP dual-lens camera with Electronic Image Stabilization, HDR, along with bokeh mode. It also gets AI integration to offer improved photography. For selfies, the handset comes with a 16MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options on the handset include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, USB Type C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and FM radio. The handset also featurs a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Juicing up the handset is a 3060mAh battery. As far as OS goes, the Nokia X6 is runs Android Oreo out-of-the-box.
