Intex Indie 5 with 4000mAh battery launched in India

Intex Indie 5 is the newest offering from the domestic manufacturer which gets a competitve tag price of Rs 4999. The handset will be available for purchase across the company’s online and offline retail channels in India. The highlight of the device is its rather hefty 4000mAh battery, along with features such as support for 4G VoLTE and DragonTrail Glass protection among others.

In terms of specifications, the Intex Indie 5 features a 5-inch HD display with dragontrail glass and 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, the smartphone gets powered by MediaTek MT6737 processor bundled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. The device also offers expandable storage upto 128GB via microSD slot.

In the photography department, the device gets a single 8MP primary camera with LED flash. For selfies, the Intex Indie 5 gets an 8MP front facing shooter.

Connectivity options on the handset include dual-SIM (micro) slots, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG support, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device gets fueled by a 4000mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 out-of-the-box. The Intex Indie 5 also comes pre-loaded with a bunch of popular apps such as SwiftKey, Amazon Prime Video, Gaana, and more.
