Samsung Galaxy Note 4 announced this year is a major game changer for the Note series. While we haven’t stepped into 2015, rumors about the next generation Note have started floating over the internet. We have compiled all of them to make you aware of the Galaxy Note 5.
After Galaxy Note 4 upgrading from Full HD display to QHD display, it is expected that Note 5 will be featuring a UHD (4K) display. This report comes from unnamed ‘insiders’ who further adds; Samsung will start the mass production of its first 4K based phone in September 2015.
The 4K display will be stretched across 5.9-inch display that results into 746 ppi pixel density. Apart from the internal sources, the company has itself revealed that they are considering a phone with 4K display in 2015.
Note 4 was a the first widely available phone to adopt the Snapdragon 805 SoC. Note 5 scheduled for next year could be powered by 64 bit processor may be – a Snapdragon 810 SoC or a newer, as yet unconfirmed SoC. Note 5 is rumored to ship with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal memory along with microSD card.
There are no reports about the camera. The camera on Note 4 is impeccable and is one of the very good cameras on smartphones after iPhone 6 Plus. We would like to see what the Korean manufacturer will be doing regarding the camera.
The Korean giant is very much predictable; we can expect the Galaxy S6 at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in March whereas the Galaxy Note 5 will traditionally debut at the IFA conference in September.
