The upcoming WWDC conference scheduled to be held on June 13 in San Francisco, is eagerly watched by tech enthusiasts since Apple is expected to make big revelations about the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPad Air 3, including iOS 10. In 2015, we saw the arrival of Apple Music during the event. It is expected that Apple will make an announcement regarding the new MacBook Pro, which will feature a touch bar.

On June 13, Apple CEO Tim Cook will deliver the keynote address where the company will disclose the roadmap for 2016. Cupertino is expected to introduce new software for iPhone, iPad and Mac computers. With the imminent launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus around the corner, in September, the announcement by Apple regarding iOS 10 assumes significance.

iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Release Date: Mid-September 2016, with iOS 10 pre-loaded

On the specifications front, both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available with up to 256GB of internal storage, with Apple all set to ditch the baseline 16GB variant, thus paving the way for 32GB. According to a leading industry research company, Apple has already finalized the spec line-up of all variants for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple’s major reform in internal storage options illustrates how time have changed, since apps and media have started to occupy huge storage space. With the inability to expand the storage using microSD card, customers are left with no choice but to ditch the device itself when it reaches the maximum storage life. We hope that with the default capacity of 32GB, users will not find a shortage of space.

While the iPhone 7 will have 2GB RAM, the 7 Plus variant will have 3GB RAM on board. Noticeably, the main difference between iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is in the RAM and storage space.

iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will come with 2GB/3GB RAM and 256GB Storage options

A few days back, an image was leaked on the web, which clearly depicts the iPhone 7’s rear panel in a rose gold color. The image displays a single camera port with a dedicated port for the LED flash. Moreover, we also spotted a new antenna design, which moves the bands to the upper and lower edges.

On the design front, the Apple iPhone 7 is expected to feature the same design as previous counterparts. The only exception is that the iPhone 7 Plus variant will have a dual-sensor camera port and maybe, but it is highly unlikely, a curved display too.

We were unable to spot the Lightning and headphone ports from the leaked images. However, there are conflicting reports on the web about the addition of ports.

iPhone 7 to be the first in the series to feature Curved Display?

Based on the enhanced specifications, we expect Apple to fix the price of the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on a higher side when compared to the iPhone 6S.
