Nokia Lumia 920 Specs

The Lumia 920 features a 4.5 inch display with PureMotion technology. The Nokia Lumia 920 edges out the iPhone 5 which features only a 4 inch screen with a 332 ppi density while the former has a 4.5 inch display with almost identical pixel density. The Nokia Lumia 920 also has enhanced technological features like the polarization filter and light-sensing technology.

All these do augment viewing by regulating brightness, even in sunlight. The Nokia Lumia 920 is a fantastic device to view streaming movies, photos and browsing the Web. The display reacted perfectly to finger nail touches though the user can also use a metal stylus to operate the touch screen, you can even operate it with gloves on in winter seasons.

Nokia Lumia 920 measures 130.3 x 70.8 x 10.7 mm and weighs 185 g only. It is available in five vivid colors which are Red, Cyan, Yellow, Black, and White. Externally the Lumia 920 looks much like its older version Nokia Lumia 900. The new and updated Windows Phone 8 OS has come as a whiff of fresh air in a market which has been till now dominated by the Google Android OS and the Apple iOS.

The Nokia Lumia 920 has a dual-core 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon S4 processor  which is very fast and starts different applications in a jiffy. The device has  16 GB of internal memory. The Lumia 920 has 1 GB of RAM and a microSD slot that supports up to 32 GB. It has Wi-Fi,  Bluetooth 3.0 (Yes, not 4.0) and NFC chip as standard connectivity features.

The 8.7 megapixel PureView primary camera which runs very smoothly and gives the user a better chance to capture the fleeting moments. The camera features the OIS which is an acronym for optical image stabilization. So, the user need not worry about getting a shaky image while riding a vehicle because the OIS will fathom the bumps and the jerks of the journey and give you excellent and life like images.

The Lumia 920 also takes excellent pictures in poor light. The low light images looked very impressive and almost difficult to discern. The camera also boasts an augmented reality feature for crisp and life like images in sharp focus.

One thing which Nokia could have done was to reduce the weight of the smartphone since at 185 Gms it is a bit heavy as compared to its competitors. Another worry is the fact that the Nokia Lumia 920 has a non removable 2000mAh battery and also LTE compatible. Fast battery drain could become a problem for a heavy user. The phone features QI wireless charging technology, which means you don’t have to plugin your phone to charge it, just simply put it on the charging bed and your phone will be charged.
