Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Release Date: 28th October in US, Samsung sends Press Invites

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release date is getting closer and Samsung has planned an event on October 24th in New York City to launch the 5.5-inch phablet in USA. Both Samsung and all partnered carriers like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular are full set to make this launch huge.

The phablet is already up for pre-orders on carrier websites but no details regarding the shipping or launch date has been mentioned there. The press invitation banner features an S-Pen, stating the next big thing is here with event venue details on it. It is also confirmed that Galaxy Note 2 variants will be offered by the top 5 carriers AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and U.S. Cellular of USA.

The features of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has made it one of the most anticipated phone of this year and it’s the only next major phone launch by Samsung after Galaxy S3 event help in London. The Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch HD display, quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE data support, dual cameras, Android 4.1 Jellybean, custom S-Pen apps, and a slim design inspired from Galaxy S 3.

The Galaxy Note 2 launch event is set for 7PM EST in New York City. And the shipping will be start right after the launch announcement event. The Galaxy Note 2 variants for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and U.S. Cellular have all passed through the FCC and U.S. Cellular currently has the Galaxy Note 2 up for pre-order and has said that it’s expecting to launch the device in October.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Price

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is being offered at $299.99 by U.S. Cellular with 2 year service contract but no details of unlocked version or no commitment price of Galaxy Note 2 is announced yet. The no contract Galaxy Note 2 is expected at a price somewhere around $700 to $850.

      Ok Nitin commenting on your own posts. So what significance does October 28th in the title has to do with the release? Was it in the title to lure readers in without giving any more details beyond that, like who is releasing it on the 28th? And if it is U.S. Cellular, why does it state:

      Doesn’t carrier websites indicate that more than one website has it ready for pre-order? Even though carrier is singular in that context but then it’s just bad connotation or inference there. Maybe you need to re-read what you wrote Nitin, I mean Johnnie. yeah great journalism of the tabloid variety.
