The Chinese Company Lenovo has announced their first Tablet which will be running the Android IceCream Sandwich 4.0 Operating System. The tablet will be called Lenovo IdeaTabS2 10 and will be sporting a 10 inch screen with a resolution of 1280x800p, the screen will be a Backlit one.
The Tablet will be having Lenovo Mondrian user interface. As far as the CPU is concerned the Lenovo IdeaPad S2 10 will sport a Qualcomm 1.5 GHz dual core processor which will be complimented by a 1GB of RAM. The device has just a 8.69 mm of thickness and the weight of the machine is 580g, which might not be the best but is not below average for all money.
The most interesting thing is that it comes with a detachable keyboard dock, so you can use it as a tablet and as a laptop as well. It comes with a 17 pin dock connector and three avatars of storage: 16/32/64 GB. You have got a microSD card slot and a mini HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. And when a 3G avatar of the machine comes it will sport a SIM card slot as well.
As far as the battery life is concerned it will give the users a work time of 9 hours and if you are working with a keyboard dock on it will give a work time of 20 hours.
The IdeaPad S2 10 is currently selling in China as the LePadS2010 but it will soon be available worldwide for buyers, but the pricing details are not clear at the present moment. Looks like the Chinese conglomerate is trying to expand the market space in the tablet industry.
