The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 international version launch date is approaching near, but US version release date is still mystery. According to a new source, US carriers will get SM-N9005 model of Galaxy Note 3 with 4G/LTE support while the international version gets SM-N9000 as its model number.
The SM-N9000 model is expected to feature Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor whereas the US version, SM-N9005 will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. All major five carriers of US, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular will feature the Galaxy Note 3 in their inventory. It looks like that Samsung will follow the same schedule as of Galaxy Note 2 to launch the Galaxy Note 3 in various region of the world.
The Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 US version will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor including the Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, 16/32/64 GB internal memory options, 5.7-inch Full-HD 1080p display screen, 13-megapixel front camera, and 3350 mAh battery. And without any doubt, Galaxy Note 3 is going to be identically same as of Galaxy S4 in design, look, and feel.
Galaxy Note 3 Release Date
The Korean company has already sent invites for a press event scheduled for 4th September at IFA 2013 in Berlin Germany, which confirms the release of 3rd generation of Samsung’s famous S-Pen stylus enabled Galaxy Note Phablet series. May be Samsung will reveal some information about US release date of Galaxy Note 3 at the Berlin event. And it is expected that Samsung will host a separate launch event for Galaxy Note 3 in US, may be New York same as where it has released the Galaxy S4 earlier this year.
The phablet market is more competitive than ever this year because of the announcement of HTC One Max by HTC, and Sony has already released the Xperia Z Ultra in the market. So, Samsung can’t afford to release the Galaxy Note 3 late because it will ultimately lead to customer interest loss in the smartphone.
The Apple iPhone 5S is also coming soon in the market, and it will become harder for Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S4 to keep a hold on the market on their own. The statistics are all pointing towards late September market availability of the Galaxy Note 3, both internationally and in US as well.
The carrier locked Galaxy Note 3 by AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon may release by Mid-October due to FCC approval and their customized branding of the device with carrier logo imprinted on the back or may be on the front face of the smartphone.
Galaxy Note 3 Price
Analysts are expecting that carrier locked Galaxy Note 2 price will start from $299 for the base model and $50 additional for upgrading the internal memory capacity. The unlocked version may start from $699 onward.
Samsung is famous for launching region specific colors of their smartphones. The Galaxy Note 3 is expected to release in two color options White and Blue initially in US and more colors to follow a later release, followed by special occasions such as Christmas, New Year and Valentines Day. Samsung has launched the Pink colored variant of Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 earlier this year on the last Valentines Day.
The rumor market is getting super hot as the release date of Galaxy Note 3 is coming closer. Are you excited about the launch as well? Do share your thoughts with us in comments.
