Recently, during the annual Google I/O conference keynote, Google didn’t formally announce the official release date of its upcoming Android upgrade but it is expected to be launched on June 4th, 2013 as per insiders.

It seems that Google has chosen to keep details about its upcoming Nexus hardware a secret perhaps this is the reason for it not to disclose anything about it in this conference. According to rumors, this new device is going to look just like the existing Nexus 4 model and is supposed to provide LTE or Long Term Evolution 4G networks. However, nothing has been officially disclosed about the White Nexus 4, the release date for these is expected to be in the first week of June 2013.

I have the current Nexus 4. Mine already has the LTE chip. Some in Canada were already using LTE with little tweaks. Google closed it with 4.2.2 update.

When it is said that new Nexus will have LTE, I presume that would mean Google has decided to open it back with 4.3. So now older Nexus phones once updated to 4.3 will have LTE as well. Correct ?
