Technology is at its peak with all the innovations and developments that are mushrooming one after the other. While some companies can go with the flow of competitiveness, some just barely make it to the competition proper. There are just some companies which would not be able to get a thumbs up from the market. One of those unfortunate companies is Motorola.
Rumors before the Alleged Disappointing Specs
Rumors have been circulating in the gadget world about the probable collaboration of the companies Motorola and Google. Motorola is said to be devising a handset which will be called Motorola X. The said handset had been mysterious and for the past months, nothing is known about what the specs are, how involved Google will be in the project and even when the gadget would be launched. People are only sure of the fact that the said gadget will be introduced in the market this year. Besides that, the companies are lip-tied about it. That is, until finally rumors of what the handset is came spiraling in the market.
Motorola X: Why Thumbs Down?
What’s evident with all the handsets that are launched and released in the year 2013 is the fact that they are all high-end and using high level type of technology which is incorporated in the handset. For months, people are expecting the same thing from Motorola which is not the case. According to rumors, the new Motorola X will be more of a midrange phone and will not compete with other high-end handsets released early of the year.
Known as “Ghost” the Motorola X is 4.7 inches with 1280×720 display, 1196×720 screen resolution and 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. With 2GB RAM and Adreno 320, Ghost has an internal memory of 32 GB without card slots which will make it impossible for the handset to expand its memory size. Though the rumor has it that it may be using the new Android Jelly Bean 4.3, other specs of the handset are not enough to have the market swooning for it and level it with the handsets introduced this year.
Motorola and Google have yet to confirm if these rumors are true. All in all though, is these specs details are the authentic ones, people won’t be happy with it.
