The latest update from the HP headquarters is that it has officially announced two new laptop hybrids in its already popular x2 Detachable PC Portfolio. The laptops about which we are talking are Windows 8 Split x2 and Android SlateBook x2. Both these laptops are full of innovative features to make working on laptop fun.
Talking about the features on these two new laptops to be launched by HP very soon, the officials revealed that the Split x2 Laptop will run on Windows 8 along with an Intel Ivy Bridge Processor. On the other hand, SlateBook x2 will run on Android 4.2 along with NVIDIA Tegra 4 chipset.
Featuring a third generation Core i3 or probably an i5 processor hailing from Intel, the Split x2 laptop is going to come with a big 13.3 inch display offering a clear 1366 x 768 resolution. It will also boast of a 500 GB hard drive along with an additional battery. This is not all; this new laptop from the x2 series of HP is going to incorporate additional ports for USB 3.0 and HDMI.
On the other hand, the second soon to be released laptop model called SlateBook x2 will feature brand new Tegra 4 chipsets, as mentioned before. Moreover, it will spot 10.1 inch display screen offering a 1920 x 1200 IPS resolution. It will weigh around 1.3 kg along with its keyboard. Moreover, it will come packed with a 64 GB internal memory along with microSD and SD card slots.
