Google Now Search App Update For Android Jelly Bean Device

Google Search app has been updated for Android Jelly Bean devices. The Android Jelly Bean devices now bring the new Google Now widget for both lock screen and home screen. All users with Android Jelly Bean devices can download and install this updated Google search app from the Google Play Store. google-now-nexus

With this update, Google Now brings Google Now Cards which make the search experience even more enjoyable for users. The Google Now cards include the support from some third parties like Zillow, Rotten Tomatoes and Fandango.

The Movie card is supported by Rotten Tomatoes, and Fandango provides support for users to buy tickets. Using these cards, Google Now will remind users to leave for theatres on time and also provide QR code for tickets. Zillow helps users to access the real estate listings nearby with detailed information.

There s a special music button added for users in U.S. This button will appear when any music is being played on the device.

Some other features included in the ‘Google Search App’ update include-

• Support for college sports in the US.

• Shows weather of your area during the day.

• Traffic on roads in your area

• Movie passes from Fandango

• Movie ratings from Rotten Tomatoes

• The last places you searched in Google Maps

• Calendar appointments

• Real estate listings from Zillow.

• Sports scores

• Stock exchange information

The update in the Google Search app was announced on the official Google Blog.

The post reads, “When Google Now first launched last summer, we promised it was just the beginning, and it would continue to get better at delivering you more of the information you need before you even ask. This is the fourth update since launch, and we’re just getting started!”
