AT&T has started rolling out it’s next firmware update for Samsung Galaxy Note 2. This is not a major update, but will bring some security updates and bug fixes. AT&T has made this update available Over-The-Air or you can update via Kies desktop software as well. The Galaxy Note 2 users with AT&T brand might get the update notification soon.
The update, as always is rolling out in phases and it might be delayed at some places. Users who do not want to wait for the update notification can get their device flashed with the update manually. Users can check for the update availability from the ‘Settings’ menu. Go to Settings->about phone.

Galaxy Note 2 users who want to grab the latest update should connect to Wi-Fi, use of a network data plan is not suggested to update your device. Device will be updated to version I317UCAMA4 after this update.
The latest update for AT&T Galaxy Note 2 is a small update that includes a “chipset security enhancement”. This update is specially rolled out to fix the Exynos exploit discovered back in December 2012. This is a small update and will take just a few minutes to install, although users need to reboot the device after installing the update.
The previous update of AT&T was released late back in December 2012. The previous update was a bigger one with more exciting features and bug fixes. It also included the multi-window support. This latest update is however, not as exciting as the previous one, but is worth grabbing for users looking for Exynos exploit fix.
