Here comes a new marketing play from the Amazon. The online shopping giant has introduced a new video in which it compares the company’s Kindle Fire HD iPad 4 side-by-side.
One shocking part about this video is that there is no comparison of Kindle Fire HD with iPad Mini. Company has just skipped it and jumped to iPad 4. This step shows the company’s intentions that it wants to compare the display quality and price tag of both the tablets.
According to Amazon, nothing beats the display quality of its Kindle Fire HD. Its display quality is similar to that of iPad 4, but the price of Kindle Fire HD is much cheaper than iPad 4.
Kindle Fire HD holds the proud tag of budget-friendly tablet computer with an amazing display quality. The tablet comes with good hardware features and many pre-loaded apps.
Amazon says that if one compares both iPad 4 and Kindle Fire HD side-by-side, then no difference would come up. But yes, the difference in price tag will come up for sure as Kindle Fire HD is $200 cheaper that iPad 4.
This comparison video is good marketing trick from the Amazon. It appeals the customers to save their hard-earned money by opting for Kindle Fire HD, without any compromise in display quality.
Whether this new trick works or not, it clearly shows that the Amazon wants to replace the iPad 4 in its big market area. On the other side, it would be interesting to see that what Apple does to give an answer to this video.
