Sony PlayStation 4 Release Date coming closer, may features LCD display and biometric sensors

The Next Generation PlayStation 4 game console is touted to be released sometime in late 2013. The predictions of the device has already started and the most prominent among them is the fact that Sony will be bidding adieu to the Dual Shock controller design which had become synonymous with the PlayStation gaming consoles.

So what is going to replace the DualShock controls? The control design will include a number of cutting edge technologies like the biometric sensors and LCD Displays.

Interestingly, it seems as if the controller designs may boast a wide range of integrated technology, ranging from biometric sensors to LCD displays.

A Sony Executive told Cnet, “That’s still a big secret, but our friends are preparing Sony PlayStation. I can only say that we are focused on the E3 gaming event, scheduled for June. [An] announcement may be [made] in that minute or even earlier in May.”

Do you remember the motion control technology which was introduced by Sony after Nintendo did the same with its Wii?  One can only hope that Sony is able to integrate the LCD Touchscreen with the PlayStation 4 better than what it had done in the past.

Most rumors point out to the fact that Sony will release the PlayStation 4 towards the end of the year. There will be a close race between the Microsoft Next Gen Xbox and PlayStation 4. However it seems that Xbox next gen will be released earlier at the E3 2013 and the PlayStation 4 may not be ready until the fag end of this year.
