Apple is now set to release iOS 6.1 to the public after releasing several beta versions for developers. The new beta of 6.1 termed as Golden Master version was being tested secretly by the company and as per the reports posted on a German website, Apple will soon release the Golden Master version (fifth iOS 6.1 beta) for the developers.
The final version of iOS 6.1 is scheduled for released either on next Friday or on the following Monday. While this thoroughly tested and final version of iOS 6.1 is not expected to bring tons of new features, it will include a few features for the developers to add new features in their apps. It also includes a few changes in Safari and a few fixes for Passbook and boarding passes. There would also be a few changes in Siri including the ability to book Fandango tickets and a new feature of asking security questions while setting a new device.
Apple released iOS 6 was released back in September 2012 for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, followed by a hasty update iOS 6.0.2 in December 2012 just a day after the release of iOS 6.1 Beta 4 by Apple for developers. The basic plan of bringing this update was to look after the Wi-Fi issues in updated iOS devices.
Stefan Esser, the noted iOS hacker claims that iOS 6.1 Beta 4 will get expired in next 10 days and Apple will release some update related to iOs 6.1 by the end of the month.
