Apple iPad Mini 2 most Anticipated and probably Best Tablet PC of 2013

Expectations are very high for 2013, since a lot many high end devices are in the pipeline to be released. The most awaited device will be the iPad Mini 2 which is rumored to be in its manufacture stage and will be released in the second quarter of 2013.

The iPad Mini was launched by Apple to establish a hold in the burgeoning 7 inch Phablet market. The iPad Mini was supposed to be a budget tablet but its premium price range belied the talks of a budget tablet. The tablet got a cold reception from the consumers who were angry at the high price and also the fact that the iPad Mini screen was not Retina Display. It fared poorly when compared to other tablets of the same configuration like the Google Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire.

There were fears that the iPad Mini will cannibalize the sales of iPad. This fear unfortunately became true and Apple had to augment the orders for iPad Mini components and reduce the orders for the conventional iPads.

Therefore to maintain a foothold on the 7 inch tablet market, Apple will have to release quickly a sequel to the iPad Mini and try to smoothen out the rough edges like the screen resolution and storage. The price factor will also play a big role since there is a big disparity in the price of  the ipad Mini and the competitor brands like Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire.

To say alive in the small tablet market, Apple needs to produce a second generation iPad Mini as early as possible. The original iPad Mini, which hit market with large fanfare, has been reviewed as a failure. The device has infamously missed a Retina display, quad core processor, better look and more. Indeed, there has been a lukewarm response to iPad Mini compared with its competitors like Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire. Further, Apple put a big price for the tablet. You need to pay $329 to get the 16GB basic model of the handset.
