It is official now that OS X users can upgrade to iTunes 11 from the Mac App Store. It is not known if the iTunes 11 are available for Windows, but it is confirmed that OS X users will get their updates of iTunes 11 from the Mac App store. Earlier it was reported that Apple will release the latest edition of iTunes 11 and it has kept its promise.
The new iTunes 11 boasts a much better and user friendly interface. The new interface is much more user friendly and simpler to use. One of the new features of the new iTunes 11 is that it allows a bird eye view of all the contents in the Album. Additionally the iTunes 11 also brings a refurbished Mini Player which displays more information but is actually smaller than the mini player which is featured in its predecessor.
One more feature which I found to be very interesting in the iTunes 11 is the freedom for users to select the next song which they want to play or in other words create their very own play list. These features bleak when you see the biggest feature of the iTunes 11 which is the facility for users to access the media files which are stored in the iCloud and also the ability to see their favorite TV show where they have actually left from another iDevice.
Apple has taken leaf from its iPad and iPhone designs and has ensured that the designs remain simple and user friendly. Apple has also designed a new logo also for its iTunes 11. Important information, the iTunes 11 updates is not very large and is of 198 MB only.
